Adoption of Tobacco Harm Reduction by the American Association of Public Health Physicians

On October 26, 2008, the American Association of Public Health Physicians officially endorsed tobacco harm reduction at their annual meeting. This is a landmark event, because it represents the first time that a medical organization in the United States has fully endorsed the strategy.
